Retired but doing some light consulting. Michelle works part time. We tend to our garden and pets, indoors and the overflow outside. We attend a lot of rock concerts and are starting to spread out. Going to Arizona next month to see the Black Moods. Going to Long Island in August to see Joe Bonamassa.

Best things about being retired: being able to sleep in. Being able to just go with Michelle to a different place for lunch on a whim.

Kids are doing well, Brad, an engineer and Lianne, an accountant. They won't be coming to live in our back bedrooms. Have my pilot's license, rated for gliders but wanting to add a single engine land to the mix.

One gap I want to close: How can I keep doing one of the things I love, providing positive support to younger engineers/technicians?

Funny story? Didn't make the yearbook. Picture taken but it got lost. But they didn't lose the picture of me dying while running CC. Figures. Good news from that is I kept running and then switched to triathlons and then to competitive cycling. 20+ years of that with some decent success on the velodrome.
